Ricky Rubio returns to the Timberwolves
The Wolves acquired the Thunder point guard alongside picks 25 (moved on to the Knicks) and 28 (Jaden McDaniels) for pick 17 (Aleksej Pokusevsky) and veteran forward James Johnson. Rubio started his career with Minnesota as the 5th overall pick in the 2009 draft.

The Warriors All-NBA shooting guard and 3-time champion tore his achilles yesterday, reports confirmed. He won't play in the 2020-21 season.

Gordon Hayward declines player option
The Celtics forward surprisingly declined his $34 million player option for this season. This would be a necessary step for him to be included in any sign-and-trade; any team trading for Hayward would want to negotiate their own contract for him that likely lasts multiple seasons. The Hawks, Pacers, and Cavalier - at least - have been interested in deals to acquire Hayward.

Pistons trade for Dewayne Dedmon
The Hawks will receive Khyri Thomas and Tony Snell in return.

Shams Charania reports the Warriors star shooting guard suffered an apparent lower leg injury today, and is undergoing tests to determine the severity. Thompson hasn't played a game since tearing his left ACL in the Finals on June 14, 2019. He had recovered.

Knicks move(s?)
UPDATE: Jonathan Wasserman reports that any deal is contingent on the Cavaliers' ability to get Isaac Okoro at 8, who has flown up their draft board.
The New York Knicks traded selections 27 and 38 in Wednesday's draft to the Utah Jazz in order to acquire pick 23. News broke from Woj. Kelsey Russo reported that the Knicks and Cavaliers have had discussions about swapping picks 8 and 23 for Cleveland's number 5 selection.

Hill led the NBA in 3 point percentage last season. Via Gery Woelfel.

Bucks get a pick
The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired the Orlando Magic's 45th overall selection in exchange for two future second-round picks, according to The Athletic's Josh Robbins.

Bulls interested in moves, no. 2 overall

This morning it came out that the Chicago Bulls could offer center Wendell Carter, Jr. and the 4th overall pick to Golden State in exchange for the 2nd overall pick, in order for the Bulls to select Memphis center James Wiseman. Carter was the 7th pick in the 2018 draft, but has played just 89 games in his first to seasons. From Kevin O'Connor.
Legion Hoops is reporting that the Bulls could attach Thaddeus Young or Tomas Satoransky to #4 in order to clear extra cap space.

Gordon Hayward
Chris Haynes of Yahoo is reporting the Atlanta Hawks are "in play" to acquire Celtics forward Gordon Hayward. Keith Smith reports that the Celtics and Hayward delayed the deadline he has to decide on his player option until 11/19, because him moving to another team would come in a sign-and-trade. Teams trading for Hayward want a commitment longer than the one year his option would get.

Kemba Walker
The Bulls reached out to the Celtics about a potential trade for Kemba Walker, per Kevin O'Connor. Walker's name has allegedly been in offers the Celtics are pushing for Houston's James Harden. Those Boston-Harden reports are not verified at this time.

Arkansas sharpshooting guard Isaiah Joe reportedly has a promise from the Philadelphia 76ers, who own picks 21, 34, and 36, in Wednesday's draft.

Patrick Williams rising
The defensive-minded power forward out of Florida State reportedly has a floor of the 7th overall pick in the draft. It's possible he has a promise from the Pistons, and the Bulls are reportedly eyeing him at number 4 overall.

Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Bucks
The Sacramento Kings' sharp shooting guard has been dealt to Milwaukee in a sign-and-trade. Woj broke the news.

Jrue Holiday to the Bucks
Woj dropped the nuke of the offseason so far late Monday night. All-Defense and former all-star guard Jrue Holiday is now a Milwaukee Buck. It is a massive haul for New Orleans, that includes pick swaps. Worth noting that the Bucks gave up a bounty of picks, but did hold on to their most valuable individual asset in wing Donte DiVincenzo.

Robert Covington to the Trailblazers
The Rockets forward/new wave center that they acquired in February is on the move again. The Rockets gave up Clint Capela for Covington. The 2020 pick is the 16th overall selection in Wednesday's draft.

Steven Adams
The 27 year old center is believed to be on the trade market, according to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto. Adams is on an expiring deal worth $27.5 million in the 2020-21 season. He is a strong conventional center, who averaged 10.9 points and 9.3 rebounds last season. Adams has spent all 7 of his NBA seasons with Oklahoma City.

Chris Paul is now a Phoenix Sun
Woj has it all:
The Suns‘ future first to the Thunder is protected 1-12 in 2022, 1-10 in 2023, 1-8 in 2024 and unprotected in 2025, via Shams Charania.

Russell Westbrook
11/16: The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor is reporting that Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan wants Russell Westbrook on the Hornets. 11/10: The Clippers and New York Knicks are interested in trading for Russell Westbrook from the Houston Rockets. It's worth noting about the Clippers salaries that they’d have to add at least one more team to make any Westbrook deal work, or give up one of Paul George or Kawhi Leonard to make room.

Pistons-Nets trade
The Detroit Pistons have agreed to send guard Bruce Brown to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Dzanan Musa and a 2021 second-round pick. Brown is 24 years old and a good defender, Musa is a 6'9" versatile forward.

Buddy Hield
The Sacramento Kings shooting guard reportedly wants out, and the Dallas Mavericks are the team he wants to land with, per Landon Buford. The 27 year old Hield hit the 8th-most threes in a season in NBA history in 2018-19. Last season, he was at odds with new coach Luke Walton and started coming off of the bench. Hield just signed an extension, so he has 4 years and $95 million remaining on his deal.

James Harden
The 2018 MVP and Rockets franchise superstar reportedly wants out of Houston, according to the Houston Chronicle. Yesterday, Woj reported that the Nets are gaining traction as a preferred destination. Harden played with Nets superstar Kevin Durant in Oklahoma City for the first three seasons of his career. Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Willie Cauley-Stein opt in
The two Dallas Mavericks both picked up their player options. This means they will be in Dallas for one more season before entering unrestricted free agency. Hardaway will make $19 million and Cauley-Stein will make $2.3 million. Via ESPN's Bobby Marks.

Danilo Gallinari
The Miami Heat are reportedly "very focused" on acquiring former Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari this offseason. The Heat had a deal in place at the trade deadline to acquire Gallinari, but the trade ultimately came apart due to differences in contract extension talks. Gallinari is now a free agent. The 6'10" 32 year old put up 18.7 points and 5.2 rebounds on 44/40/89 shooting splits last season.

Dennis Schroder
The 6th Man of the Year finalist is reportedly being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Lakers are sending Danny Green and their 28th overall pick. There could be more details to this trade, which cannot become official until after the Lakers select in Wednesday's draft because LA owes New Orleans an unprotected 1st in 2021. Schroder put up 18.9 points and 4.0 assists on 47/38/84 shooting splits last season. He has one year left on his contract for $15.5 million.

Eric Bledsoe
The Ringer reports that the Bucks are in active trade talks shopping all-defense guard Eric Bledsoe. The Rockets are named as one suitor. Bledsoe is 30 with 3 years, $39 million left on his contract.

Jrue Holiday
The all-NBA defender and former all-star guard is once again hearing his name ramp up all over the NBA's trade talks. The Celtics are the most serious landing spot at this moment, per Kevin O'Connor. Shams Charania reported on November 4 that the Pelicans are open to deals involving the 30 year old Holiday.

Gordon Hayward-Myles Turner
Per Evan Massey. The framework of the potential Celtics-Pacers trade would include the 14th overall pick going to Indiana.

Victor Oladipo
The Indiana Pacers star guard appears unlikely to return to Indiana. With one year left on his deal, the former all-star was already the subject of many trade talks. Now, it's come out that Oladipo wants to play for other teams.

Dallas Mavericks interested in third piece
The Mavericks have trade interest in Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls, Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets, and Victor Oladipo of the Indiana Pacers. Via Kevin O'Connor.

DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge
The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in acquiring DeRozan, and the Warriors have been reported interested in a trade for LaMarcus Aldridge. The package for DeRozan would include Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma, the latter of whom has been reported to be expecting a payday. Kuzma's rookie deal expires after this season. DeRozan info via Kevin O'Connor, Aldridge via ESPN.

Serge Ibaka
The veteran power forward posted a video titled "Thankful for my journey" on YouTube Monday that all but stated he will be entering free agency, likely signing with another team. The video depicts a good amount of the Rockets, but Forbes Sports is now reporting that Kevin Durant is recruiting Ibaka to join his Brooklyn Nets. Durant and Ibaka were teammates on the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2010 to 2016.

Dennis Schroder
Oklahoma City point guard and 6th Man of the Year finalist Dennis Schroder says that multiple teams are calling with interest in acquiring him. Schroder just turned 27 has one year left on his contract for $15,500,000. He was one of the most efficient ball handlers and scorers in the NBA last season.

Fred VanVleet
The Raptors point guard was quoted on JJ Redick's podcast as saying "I've won a championship, now it's time to cash out." Sounds like he could be done in Toronto unless they want to pay him handsomely, which they can do because they have the 26 year old's bird rights. The Wichita State product put up career highs of 17.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists last season.

Chris Paul-Phoenix Suns
According to Jonathan Macri, the Suns and Thunder are “past preliminary stages” of a trade that would send Chris Paul to Phoenix. There is discussion of making it a four-team trade involving the LA Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks.

Timberwolves
According to Kevin O’Connor, the Timberwolves are “attempting to acquire” a second lottery pick. Besides the 1st overall pick, Minnesota has the 17th pick in November 18’s draft, which is just outside of the lottery. Three weeks ago, O’Connor reported that the Timberwolves were in win-now mode. So it’s likely that their trade(s) could be for established, quality players.

#6 pick
Including Minnesota, the Pelicans and Celtics have emerged as suitors for the Atlanta Hawks’ #6 pick. There have been conflicting reports saying Jrue Holiday both is and is not a trade target of the Hawks. (via Marc Stein and Chris Kirschner)

Davis Bertans
Chase Hughes reports that multiple teams are preparing sign-and-trade offers for Wizards free agent big Davis Bertans, because the teams don't have the cap space to outright sign him. This is in addition to the Hawks, Suns, and Knicks, who have the cap room and reportedly will pursue Bertans in traditional free agency. Bertans has publicly stated he wants to re-sign in Washington, and the Wizards having his bird rights means that they can go over the cap to re-sign him.

Aaron Gordon
Kevin O'Connor reports that the Magic have discussed trades centered around Aaron Gordon. The Milwaukee Bucks were the only team specifically named with interest.
